- The Math- how did I come up with 228 pieces of art ?? If a child attends two years of preschool before Kindergarten, attends class 19 weeks in one school year and has an art activity twice per week, that’s 38 pieces of art- over six years (through 4th grade) - front loaded of course, since preschoolers tend to create more art than 4th graders for example. Some create multiple pieces of art per day so this is a conservative figure.
